  • WHO'S THERE?

    are you listening?
    am I?
    God are you there?
    are you listening?
    am I?
    are you speaking?

    What are you saying today?
What are you thinking wanting seeing?

    Where is it all leading?
    How long have we got?

What is the most important thing?
    What is the question?
    Hope it's not
    'Humans or not?'

  • HOW TO SAVE THE WORLD?

    i just googled this question
after seeing the movie 'lions for lambs'
    what is that about?
    propaganda?
was the message that if America's young lions only signed up instead of their lambs there would be an easy 'win'in the war against terror!
    I don't know, maybe I misread it
    frightening really
so I came home and googled
    'How to save the world?'
    and found a good man's blog -
    Dave Pollard
    I agree with him
Our world is heading into crisis
what it needs is not experts in
    war, media or money
    nor experts in running a
    consumer society but a new
    expertise in fostering sustainable citizenry
    ... or something like that
if our 'best' can focus on leading us
    into achieveable strategies
    for achieving this
we may HAVE a future world!

  • TRUTH FALLS

    between the cracks
    of a mindset
    tracking blind
    through culture black
    holes
    of thought
    we're caught
    between two poles
    and still
    truth falls

    but let this light
    this media quest
    as jousting suits
    pursue recruits
shine on these saddening, bitter truths
    and realise
    that once brought out
    this can of worms
    cannot be left
    uncared about

    and though this shallow
    blinkered smacks
    may yet
    bring justice
    out back

    ........................
A further comment on the Australian Government's response to the 'Little Children are Sacred Report' and the subsequent NT Intervention. Whether motivated by Election plans or Mineral deposits on the lands -
May both Territory and Commonwealth Government's as a result of this intervention and what it uncovers also about it's own inadequate systems and past neglect, be squarely faced with this culpability and lack of 'duty of care', and in future ensure that Anangu, Yapa communities (Indigenous) are equipped with the kind of public infrastructure that the rest of us Australians enjoy i.e. adequate police, secondary education, teachers, health care, governance and roads.
