    IT
    Sometimes I can't watch TV
    like now
    when a restless nagging
    dissatisfaction
gnaws its way into my consciousness
    and I stand up
    and turn it off

I walk outside into the dark
    in my sox
    feel the cold night air
    on my face
    glance up at the stars

    then turn
    and return, to my office
where I turn on my computer
    another screen
    with LCD gleam
    has won the toss!

    But the Net's not working
So I pull out a pen
    and write something
    then...

    it's here
    this poem
    and you're reading IT!

  • THANKS

    THANKS
    to you for reading
    to God for hearing
    to life for being
    up and down

like the message on the tour bus -
    it's about the journey
    not the destination

    the bad with the good
    the hard with the easy
    the pain with the joy
    the fear with the safety
    the one
    makes the other
    all the more clear

well for those who have read
    earlier blogs
    the news is good
walking on water has paid off

    I'm eating
more work than I can take on

    The risk was worth it
    and its FUN

    thank you
    they said
    on their home made card

    words, pictures
    lives

    left behind

    fork in the road
    each step a journey apart
    but not far
    from the heart

    what's in a day -
    a choice
    a conversation
    a journey
    each an opportunity
    a departure
    from what was before
and a doorway to something new

    while, all the time
the seeds of time drop through
    counting out the days
    till what's old
    becomes truly new

  • WALKING ON WATER

    beanies

finish up at work on Friday
no definite ongoing work in place

yet I feel hugely excited about the next step

    like an unborn baby
    the future
    still doesn't have a face

    yet the signs are there
    the birds have spoken
    the dreamz have come
